BRAND PROJECT

US DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS

The Department of Veterans Affairs of the United States Government is a federal agency that provides health services to military veterans at VA medical centers and clinics located in all countries.

To fulfill President Lincoln’s promise to “treat those who faced the battle”, the Department of VA serves and honors the men and women who are part of America’s veterans.

AIMS

AIMS was designed for Veterans and Army members, but can be used by anyone fighting with uncontrolled anger problems. AIMS is based on the “Anger and Irritability Management” course. The application provides users with a theoretical basis about anger management, opportunities to ask for and find specialist support, the ability to create plans to learn how to manage anger, a tool for tracking anger attacks and various tools to manage angry reactions.

Users can also create their own tools based on their preferences and can integrate their contacts, photos, and music. The AIMS application can be used as a single service or in combination therapy with live or online courses. AIMS was created by VA’s National Center for PTSD and the VA’s Mental Health Services.

STAIR

STAIR Coach is designed to integrate the principles of the Skills Training in Affective & Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) to a traditional psychotherapy course.

It can be useful to people who are experiencing traumas or symptoms derived from their lives. STAIR is a psychotherapy system based on real evidence that uses cognitive and behavioral techniques to help the user manage emotions and relationships. The application includes interactive and very deep psycho education tools for managing emotions and behaviors, customizable reminders, and a series of quick links to support services

ACT COACH

ACT Coach was developed for War Veterans, military forces on duty, and for all the people who are facing a therapy course in Acceptance and Commitment, with the assistance of a therapist. The application offers exercises, tools, information, and a diary that allows the user to experience the lessons learned and keep track of them in everyday life.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) aims to help people live with unpleasant thoughts, emotions and impulses, without escaping from them or letting themselves be controlled by them. With ACT, you will be encouraged to take action so that you live consistently with your values, even when you are faced with non-positive situations.

PTSD COACH

The application of PTSD Coach was developed for War Veterans and military forces on duty who have suffered (or may suffer) from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

This application provides immediate tools to help manage the symptoms of post-traumatic stress and enable veterans and military forces to complete a self-assessment. The user can also keep track of symptoms, consult information material, monitor stress levels, and learn tools to better manage crises.
